Bus routes are provided for each of the five towns in the district: Brimfield, Brookfield, Holland, Sturbridge, and Wales. For those who live in Sturbridge, you will want to note that some bus schedules have changed since last year. This is largely due to the expansion of Burgess Elementary School and the initiation of full-day kindergarten there. The bus routes may change in the first month of (3 comments)

August 26, 2011: Hurricane season has begun, and it is starting with a fury. Hurricane Irene is expected to make a grand entrance late this weekend, and if the weather forecasters are correct, she will wreak havoc in most of the east coast states. In fact, the weather experts say that her winds and rains may be felt as far out as 200 miles from the eye of the storm. In Massachusetts, we usually experience some of the tail-end effects of hurricanes, often after they have been downgraded to tropical storm (5 comments)

The sellers had updated the kitchen and flooring - it was in move-in condition. The home is located on a beautiful lot; the yard feels like a private park, with mature trees and stone walls. In addition, this property is located in close proximity to a popular nature conservancy - a wonderful setting in all seasons. I wish my clients many happy memories in their new home in lovely (8 comments)

A big shout out to Barney's Bicycle in Worcester, Massachusetts! Barney's Bicycle165 Chandler StreetWorcester MA 01609(508) 799-BIKEbarneys@e-barneys.com
In the course of training for a triathlon, I was looking for a bike to take the place of my old mountain bike. I'd been around to various bike shops in the area, and my budget just did not support a shiny, new road bike. After searching such sites as eBay and craigslist for a used bike, I discovered Barney's Bicycle. Barney's Bicycle carries new and used bicycles for (10 comments)
August 2011: Mid-summer and the picking is easy, especially if you visit Ragged Hill Orchard in West Brookfield, MA. Located atop a country hill, Ragged Hill Orchard provides a wonderful place to escape and wander the hills. This time of year, the blueberries are ripe and ready, and the red raspberries are sweet and at peak. On my recent visit to Ragged Hill, we filled buckets of plump berries. The orchard owners provide buckets with roped (5 comments)
