Driving around Sturbridge this week, there have been many opportunities for winter photography. Here are some pictures from around the Sturbridge Town Common.
The town common is a central gathering place in Sturbridge. It played a role as a battle ground in the Revolutionary War, but these days it is used for recreation.
The common is bordered by numerous antique homes that help Sturbridge retain its quaint historical personality.

Sturbridge is overflowing with coffee chains, but Rogers brings to town a place for true coffee-house fanatics to call home. What the national brands can't offer, Rogers does. Sturbridge Coffee House has an inviting setting within a cozy antique building on Route 20, the town's primary commercial leg. The early timing of dawn in the spring brings us not only longer days, but more spectacular colors and light each morning. We are having a big, beautiful snow day here in New England. Our street has not yet been plowed out. What better way to spend a couple of hours than on AR? I've become enamored with Wordle and created a word cloud using some of the words that I feel describe my town of Sturbridge, MA.
