Norm Abram, master craftsman and well-known star of This Old House and New Yankee Workshop, returns to Sturbridge on Saturday, November 5, 2011. He brings his friend and colleague Bruce Irving, Emmy-award winning producer of This Old House.
Abram and Irving will offer their insights into the characteristics that define New England during a luncheon program at Old Sturbridge Village. STURBRIDGE, MA - Old Sturbridge Village is holding a wonderful holiday event this year: The 12 Nights of Christmas. On selected evenings (see below) the Village will be open during evening hours only while it presents its candlelight Christmas in the style of early Colonial days.

If you are in town this weekend and looking for something to do, here are some ideas for fun in beautiful Sturbridge, Massachusetts:

1. The most exciting event tonight is the boxing show put on by the Massachusetts State Police. Boxers from Massachusetts, New York, Denver, and even the UK will be coming to town to compete. The event will be held at the Sturbridge Host Hotel, starting at 7 PM.
