Walking With My Grandson And The Okami Kai Team In The MS Walk Sometimes life throws us a curve ball
My Brother was diagnosed with MS a few years ago and was recently hospitalized when he lost all feeling from the waist down. This is not the first curve ball life has pitched his way yet while visiting him in the hospital I could not get over how cheerful he was. With friends and relatives suffering from this debilitating disease when My grandson asked if I would walk with him I simply said yes.

Swing Into Spring is the result of The Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation and Wooden Sticks partnering to host this annual tournament some four years ago. The Registration for the Dragonflies Dragon Boat Festival closed early this year with applications still arriving after the maximum number of registrants was reached.
The 56 teams and over 1400 paddlers that competed in the 2010 festival raised more than $153,000 in pledges and donations. As the Christmas season and a new year fast approaches I thought I would reflect a little on life to date. In doing so I could not help but spend a fair bit of time reflecting on a life changing experience that took place in 2000. That was the year that I would travel half way around the world to a small community, far from what you would call the civilized world, to help build a food storage building and teach English.
