real estate: When will I get my first REO listing? - 05/15/08 05:55 PM
I just got my first BPO order from Goodman Dean. They claim to be a full service company and not just a BPO mill. I am hoping that's true and they will send me a REO listing soon. Does anyone out there work with them? Can you give me some feedback?
I started doing BPOs recently to try to get my foot into the REO world. I am getting a steady stream of BPO business but I am still waiting for my first REO listing. Since I don't have any contacts, I figure this is a way to break into the … (12 comments)

real estate: How do you remain anonymous? Is this legal in AR? - 04/24/08 07:15 PM
I just received a comment on my blog about "BPO companies I got a lot of work from". The comment has a time and date but no name. Someone left a anonymous message! It was a message accusing a asset management company for not paying for BPO orders.
Can anyone tell me how this is done and is it legal in AR? I mean we should stand behind our posts? Sometimes you just want to verify the info.

real estate: Make sure your loan officer has done FHA loans before! - 04/22/08 07:54 PM
Just last week, one of my newer agent came to me all excited because he got his first buyer who is FHA approved. And, not only that, they have found a condo they love, ready to put in an offer. I congratulated him and somehow I happen to ask him if the condo was FHA approved. He was shocked and said the loan officer did not mention anything about condo projects needing FHA approvals! So I went to the FHA website to see if his condo was approved. Low and behold, his condo's not approved. That's mean now they need to … (13 comments)

real estate: Ever get frustrated with your broker? - 04/20/08 06:51 PM
Before I started my own company, I worked with one of the big guys, for the purpose of this blog, I will call it the Rock. Mind you, since I have been in the business a long time, I usually just do my own thing. Once in a while, I run into problem or a question and I would need the manager's help. My manager would always diligently write my problem on his yellow legal pad and tell me he will get back to me. BUT HE NEVER DID! I ALWAYS HAD TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM MYSELF!

No, I am not drunk. I wonder if anyone else feels the same way I do...Oh, my ranking in San Diego keeps moving up too! I am at 23 now! I will be number one soon, very soon!
All honesty, I have found so much helpful info here that I have over and over again recommended to my agents!

real estate: Don't wait to buy! the market is starting to pick up - 04/11/08 08:02 PM
Just this past couple of weeks I am seeing more activites in the market. Buyers are writing offers instead of "just looking", investors are out snapping up bargains...Multiple offers on REO properties...This is really exciting. My agents are writing more offers! All these gloom and doom talk in the media is not true!! On top of that, a lot of agents have left the industry, meaning those few of us left will be on top of the game when the good time rolls full force at us! … (5 comments)
