It seems incomprehensible to me that it has taken this long for lenders to get the fact that there should be one point of contact for borrowers and not have dual tracking going on. In this computer age, I believe that all the borrowers' information should be in one file, where any activity regarding the loan can be seen by authorized folks. One point of contact would allow the loan modification department, the foreclosure department and the short sale department to see what is happening to the particular loan.
