In this business, we all know that it is crucial to keep a positive attitude. Sometimes I think being a realtor is similar to gambling in Las Vegas. Every time I do an open house or take floor time, I think this could be the time I meet a great qualified buyer. Or maybe I'll find a seller who wants to list their home. Creative Mortgages - No wonder there are so many short sales I've been working with a seller who was referred to me from a good friend. I've listed his investment house as a short-sale and we got a good offer on it yesterday. So now the fun begins with trying to get the bank to accept the offer. As part of getting my packet together to get to the bank, he gave me copies of his financial information to submit with the short-sale packet. Real Estate Ethics Refresher I've just spent the last three days in a classroom in Phoenix sponsored by Hogan Real Estate School. The class was for the Accredited Buyer Representative Designation, and included lectures, thick manuals, pertinent examples, extensive hand-outs, and great fellowship with other agents. It was probably one of the best uses of my time in the last two months. The teacher started out the class asking every person in the class if you would knowingly violate your Code of Ethics. Wow, my very first blog. I know I may be behind the times, but I'm soooooooooo excited about blogging.
