The Red Brick Kitchen and Bar just recently opened in downtown Dexter, Michigan.  This restaurant is a welcome addition to the local eating establishments in the Village of Dexter. They serve up all the favorites like Pizza, Burgers, Chicken, Fish, and an assortment of Sandwiches.  Click here for the Menu.
Their 8 oz. hand-ground top sirloin burger served on a sliced bagel roll and not your typical hamburger bun was delicious. While home sales in September were down slightly from a relatively strong month in August, they were up from a year ago, giving encouraging signs of a strengthening market and potential for stabilizing, if not appreciating, home prices. These signs include an increasing demand, shown by the number of people shopping for homes, and the decreasing inventory of homes for sale, in conjunction with some of the lowest levels of new housing construction since the 1960s when the Beatles first came to the United States.

Washtenaw County's recorded foreclosures are down more than 23 percent from last year
According to Lawrence Kestenbaum, Washtenaw County’s Clerk and Register of Deeds, 79 Sheriff’s Deeds were recordedby Washtenaw County’s Register of Deeds office this October
In 2011 to date we have recorded a total of 964 Sheriff’s Deeds, compared to 979 and 1,256 in 2009 and 2010, respectively. This year’s total to date is 76.8 percent of last year’s total to date, and continues as the lowest annual count we’ve recorded since 2007.
An updated table showing monthly recording for 2002 through October, 2011 is presented below.
