On the Spring Equinox the Sun rises exactly in the east travels through the sky for 12 hours and sets exactly in the west. Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery: Dale Hollow National Fish Hatchery (NFH) occupies a 40 acre plot within the Highland Rim of the Upper Cumberland physiographic region. for stocking in and below U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and Tennessee Valley Authority impoundments in Tennessee, Georgia, and Albama. Established in 1965, the hatchery features 104 outdoor raceways and 22 indoor fingerling production tanks where visitors can view the fish at their leisure.
