If you have seen the newest Geico commercial the Gekco is on Geico Radio Show. The caller says that he just did an online quote in 5.12 seconds...wants to know if that is a record. The host pulls up a large dotmatrix generated report that has this info and states it is not a record, was beat out by 8 seconds. The caller then asked well what if I was with one hand...and the host changes pages to that set of records.To me the message is how fast you can get a quote and how the company is advanced that a

This might date me somewhat but I want to draw your attention to an event that happened with very little fanfare of discussion. It is a further example of the change that surrounds us daily and how it goes unnoticed. November 17, 2009 marked the end of the FHA Streamline refi. Although technically we still have a FHA Streamline product here are a few of the changes: Old FHA Streamline allowed for No appraisal, no max LTV, no income verification, no asset verification, credit scores unimportant, fast closings. IT'S BACK....believe it or not ML-09-15 with attachments are back. Called Using First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credits so here are the guidelines: The first thing to keep in mind is you must follow IRS guidance to see if you are even eligible for this tax credit. that website is http://www.irs.gov/newroom/article/0,,id=204671,00.html?portal7. Leave it to the IRS to have such a difficult link. This is a question almost every customer I ever had over my 30 yrs as a loan officer has asked at some point and time. Frankly, it is not an easy question to answer and I have never approached this question lightly. It is disappointing to me when "mortgage professionals" answer this loan based on what products they have available and not on what might be best for the consumer. Here is an example, not every lender is FHA or VA approved. Why, well there are a number of factors but the main reason has to do with net worth
