It’s that time of year again!!! Tapps Island Annual Garage Sale Saturday & Sunday, June 2nd & 3rd. The hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There will be a $5.00 fee per carload from dawn to 3:00 PM, on Saturday only for vehicles entering the Island without a current, teal holographic Tapps Island sticker or guest pass. The $5.00 passes will be issued to all paying visitors entering Tapps Island. Vehicles must park in designated areas only. A tow truck will be on site … (2 comments)

Placing of Flags, Thursday, May 24
Flags will be placed at the markers of veterans on May 24.  Anyone is invited to come help the VFW as there are many flags to be placed.
Flags will be placed by markers that are designated as veterans.  If someone has a loved one at the Sumner City Cemetery who also served in the military but is not noted on the marker, they can get a flag from the cemetery office to place by the marker.
