Bats for Matt is scheduled for April 14th, 2012 at Green Hope High School, 2500 Carpenter Upchurch Road in Cary. Green Hope High School will be playing a friendly game of baseball against Cardinal Gibbons. This is the 6th year for this event that raises money and awareness to fight lymphoma, the disease that took Matt Cossa’s life in 2006. Last year, more than 35,000 guests visited TAC each month and they generated more than $7 million in economic development for Wake County, the highest yearly amount ever that now totals $20 million over the last four years.
