Nothing like Sunday morning breakfast. But then again, every day for me is Sunday; Home fries, scrambled eggs, hot fresh coffee and toast from my own home made bread. Doesn't get any better then this. Question; Am I in heaven?

Ever run out of confectionery sugar?
Don't run to the store.
Making powdered sugar, or, making icing without confectionery sugar.
Anyone allergic to corn, you can't eat confectionery sugar
because it contains corn starch to prevent caking. So, what do you do?
You make your own powdered sugar.
Using a Mr. Coffee bean grinder, or something similar,
put a small amount of regular cane sugar in the grinder and blast away.
Viola! You now have "powdered sugar", that you can eat.
I use unsweetened baking chocolate squares, a tablespoon of butter and just a little milk to make to amount … (5 comments)

cup of honey, one third cup of sugar, three packs of yeast, two eggs, 2 cups of uncooked oatmeal, 2 cups of oat flour, 2 cups of whole wheat flour and 7 cups of bread flour. and plenty of TLC.

Actually, a beautiful day in Staten Island, as it is most every day here. Temps will hover around the mid thirties, and any snow accumulation will only be about an inch or so. The Department of Energy loaned Fisker Auto $529,000,000 to develop a car that cost over $100,000. The company is in Finland, this car will be for the 1% ers. The jobs are overseas. Are we losing our minds here in the USA?

Folks, this is a great course. I just finished the first 4 modules. I can review it, or just move on. I like that I can listen at my pace and at a time best for me. Well worth the $29.00 I paid.
I printed the PDF files so I can review without going back online, I also like to see the printed word when listening to the videos. Helps me to absorb better.

Just to make sure you believe your eyes, the Seaside Nature Park in Great Kills, was not only visited by humans, but the beautiful swans and ducks also came by for an occasional tidbit from the folks enjoying the balmy day. Fifty nine degrees, can you believe it's February first? BTW, this is just walking distance from my listing at 82 Pacific Ave. Eltingville. See video below;
