Just discovering what my iphone4 can do.
I made a QR code for my listing, at 93 Pacific Ave. today and posted it outside the property. Then scanned the code to see if it's working OK. My iphone lets me do whatever my home computer does, except I can use it where ever I am, not just in my office. So prospective customers can download information about the property right from their car in front of the unit where I posted the code. I remember making my first phone call. We had no dial on the phone. We would pick up the phone and an operators voice would say "Operator", we would then state the number we wanted to be connected to.
It would sound like this; Operator please connect me to GI-7-4928, that was my fathers work number. The operator would then say, "One moment please", and then we would hear the phone ring until my father answered.
That was then. This is now.

OK, weather is getting nice now, time to turn our attention outside. Take a look around your property, what do you see? Old man winter has left his mark, decaying leaves and twigs have stained sidewalks and step walls, green stains most likely mildew, on siding, gutters and concrete walks look unsightly. If you were taking a listing, would you recommend some cheap maintenance to spruce up these areas?

It's the season for termites to make new nests. In the New York City area, generally it's around late April or early May. You may have termites and not know it. A trained inspector would know where to look and know the signs of an infestation. Here is a site I found on the Internet you may gain some knowledge with. Click here for this site.

The biggest problem people have when selling their home is pricing their unit right.
Why is it, that most homes don't sell at or near full price? Everyone loves a bargain, but not every unit is a bargain.
In my city, we just received our statements regarding our property values for tax notice. Now that's opening up a can of worms. Folks are calling me asking, "How can my value go up (according to the city) when prices are still falling"?

To Sell or Not To Sell? That is the Question.
We need to start with the Why question first.
Why do we want to sell our home? Just to mention a few of the most common reasons.
Sometimes it's elementary, we need a bigger or smaller place. If we like the neighborhood, and have enough land, we may consider adding on or building up. If that's not an option, then we need another place.
We're retiring and want to be (near family, or warmer climate)

You did a fantastic job. No damage to my property, and even more important, no one got hurt. Trimming can be VERY dangerous, so I'm doubly grateful. Also, your men left my property cleaner than when they got here. After all the cutting, they not only cleaned the mess from the saws, but even cleaned up some of my leaves.
