Situated in the west central part of Livermore, Northwood Commons is a charming town house development. Built in 1984 by Northwood Homes, floor plan configurations start with the smaller model, with 2 bedrooms,1.5 bathrooms to 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with a loft. Square footage ranges from 958 for the smallest home to 1618, which includes a loft.
Design features include kitchen nooks, vaulted ceilings, tiled entries and balconies on some models. This self-contained community has two very appealing features. First, is the park-like setting. Open grassy areas host tall shade trees, and give a true neighborhood feel.

Lizzie Fountain is a mainstay of downtown Livermore, residing at the corner of North Livermore and First St. over 40 years. On any given hot day, you can see children playing happily in the cool water bubbling from the fountain’s center, while parents and grandparents relax in the shade.
For the past several years, it’s even been the center of winter fun, when fresh snow is delivered for a mini winter wonderland.

We've seen some headway in the complextion of our local market - a small percentage of the overall inventory is distressed properties. Traditional sellers have re-entered the market, understanding that recovery for the market is slow. Several things are still working in favor of the sellers - prices are very attractive, interest rates have stayed at the lows that prompted much activity last year, and inventory is still under 'normal' market levels.
