Ready For Snow In Chino Hills, CA?  The Annual Chino Hills Snow Day sponsored by the City of Chino Hills Winter  is scheduled on January 28, 2012 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Crossroads Park.  Crossroads Park is located at 2765 Chino Hills Parkway.  There will be tons of real snow. The cost is $8 pre-sale for residents or $10 at the door. For non-residents it is $10 pre-sale or $15 at the door.  Sleds will be provided. This past April in an effort to deal  with budget cuts, Chino Valley Unified School District  came up with an innovative plan to raise funds. They looked to the popularity of food truck festivals as a revenue source. It was such a big hit the first time that they are doing it again. The event is scheduled September 17, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  at Don Lugo High School. The Chino Valley Foodie Truck Fundraiser will host fourteen of the region's gourmet food trucks.
