My New Organ - 11/29/07 12:42 PM
Now get your mind out of the gutter. A past client called and asked if Robin would like to have this antique 1870 era organ. The leather airbags are shot and need to be restored along with a few minor pedal repairs. I think that I will have the work done even though niether one of us can carry a tune at least we could make more noise than the grandchildren when they visit. To make it work you have to pedal and squeeze the kneeknockers while playing the keys. I already know its too complicated for me. Besides now I … (9 comments)

I spent all day showing homes on Friday which this out of State couple requested to see that they saw online. They were disappointed to say the least. Saturday it was all my choice and my day to shine. Listening to their needs, wants and dreams gave me great insight to what to show to them the following day. I spent very little time showing only three till I get "Can I get a hug" this is ours!!! I love my job!! The rest of the day was spent with Robin, the Grands and my Daughters! Buyer Rescues Realtor® - 11/14/07 06:44 AM
Last evening Robin attended a ribbon cutting event at a new home development. The event was near the pool area and she needed to walk through the clubhouse to get to the event. She had just arrived and was alone walking through the club house and somehow fell, breaking her wrist in a few places and hitting her head. A buyer who was looking at homes and decided to look at the club house found her and called for help. Thank you kind soul whomever you are.
Surgery will be needed to repair her wrist so please keep us in your prayers.

Ga. Property Tax Revision - 11/09/07 03:18 PM
Yesterday at our Board luncheon Glen Richardson the Speaker of the House of Georgia was our guest. He shared with us the new bill up for vote soon to repeal all Georgia ad-valorum tax including property tax and replace it with a 4% sales tax on all goods and services. Some people are all for it and some do not care to change the current system. This would change our Real Estate market dramatically as those with escrow payments would be paying far less every month on their home note. And yes I did work. I took an extra hour to move in the morning as my present to myself. As I drove to the office I realized something special was going to happen and it did, all day long. I met folks on the way to the office that I haven't seen in years. Getting to the office was an offer in my mail folder! Woohhoo!! My Broker bought me lunch instead of a coaching session which was very nice. Paulding Chamber of Commerce 2007 Holiday Tour of homes - 11/03/07 08:11 AM
Please join the Chamber as we celebrate the season and enjoy the grand finale of Paulding County's 175th Anniversary Celebration.
The 2007 Holiday Tour of Homes will be December 2, 2007 from 1-5p.m. Tour the Ragsdale, Tidwell and Rakestraw homes in all their holiday splendor. Benefiting the "Star Student Scholarship Fund".
The Chamber will be open from 1-5p.m. during the tour where you may enjoy refreshments, pick up directions and purchase tickets to the tour which is $20 a ticket.
We will also be collecting a toy drop off for underprivileged children in Paulding County. New, unwrapped please.
