No it is not the latest romantic movie out of Hollywood. It is true we have two historic covered bridges in Greenbrier County. They are some of the true gems of our beautiful countryside. Both bridges are listed on the National Historic Registure and one is still in use today, allowiing vehicles to drive through the unique structure.
Herns Mill Bridge is located just out of Lewisburg. Erected in 1879 Herns Mill Bridge is a 54-foot long covered bridg. It spans Milligans Creek about four miles from Lewisburg. This bridge is a queenpost truss design bridge and there seems to … (3 comments)
