As of June 7, 2011 29% of available listings in Marvelous Marin County are in escrow.
For the month of May 2011 208 home sold in Marin County for an average final selling price of $964,650.
The average original asking price of these homes was $1,051,707.
The range of final selling prices was from a low of $106,000 to a high of $8,750,000.
Of the 208 homes that sold (57--or roughly 27.5%--of which were distress sales) 14 sold at their original asking prices and an impressive 32 sold for more  than their original asking prices.

The average original asking price of these homes was $778,248.
The range of final selling prices was from a low of $100,000 to a high of $4,000,000.
Of the 84 homes that sold 3 sold at their original asking price, 13 sold for more than their original asking price and all other sold for less.

For the month February 2009 21 homes sold in Novato for an average final selling price of $590,429.  Oddly similar to Larkspur and Greenbrae.
The range of final selling prices was from a low of $135,000 to a high of $1,400,000.
Of the 21 homes that sold, 3 sold over their orignal asking price with all others selling for less.
It took these homes an average of 141 days to sell.
