Staging for selling is not the same as designing for living! - 04/20/10 06:31 AM
The benefits of staging a home before it's placed on the market cannot be overstated! The numbers released by RESA (real estate staging association) show that a house NOT staged stays on the market far longer than one that is staged. Now, for the stages of staging - Start at the very beginning...drive up to the property being listed. Are there tools, toys and weeds in abundance? Are the gutters overflowing with debris? Is the landscaping poorly manicured? Do the drive and sidewalks need sweeping? Are shutters in disrepair and do you see paint that is peeling down to its
