Elk Valley Estates is one example of a mountain community West of Colorado Springs that takes extreme care with forest maintenance and management.  They are active in their involvement with the US Forest Service in walking the property, evaluating trees, areas and underbrush that need to be marked for evaluation, pruning, or taken out.  Watching for beetle kill or other infestations that can harm trees and community involvement with keeping the areas around homes clear of underbrush are some of the ways that they do their part for keeping the forest healthy and thriving.

The past two weeks I am reminded how much of a difference working with great Realtors can be.  Two agents have been outstanding in working through questions about properties between going under contract and closing.
