I just saw a "Featured" BLOG that made me wonder about how $5.00 a gallon gas will change the economy. What do you think? Let's say gas in your town is $3.89 a gallon today which it is in Sacramento. Let's also say that gas will spike to $5.50 a gallon by July. Let's say you drive 12,000 miles a year per car owned. Let's say you don't get great gas mileage on that beast in the driveway and your looking at 16 mile a gallon. Now let's do the math for exactly what that $1.61 (or 41%) price hike to
