On March 1st a new book will be released, 'Surviving Your Serengeti' by Stefan Swanepoel.  Stefan writes of Africa and the great herds and their migrations.  He ties these amazing migrations to Sean Spencer, his wife Ashley and several others, who have been living the economic downturn at home, deciding to take a trip of a lifetime, all ending up in Africa in a safari camp together.  The story tells of the real estate crash, the loss of jobs and homes and the way the animals in Africa deal with their economic downturn that starts over every year.  Stefan goes on to relate these experiences to 7 … (3 comments)

NORTH LAKE TAHOE REAL ESTATE AFFECTED BY OIL PRICES.  We are watching history unfold in the Middle East at a mind-boggling pace.  Are we going to see $4.00 a gallon gasoline soon?  Probably more through other geopolitical reasons than political tensions in Egypt and the other countries in that region.  More because the world is growing fast and the demand for oil grows daily.
It is impossible to ignore the potentially powerful effects of that regions political problems and how it will affect us in the USA.  The overall effect on the world economy also will feel the pressures for many reasons.  In turn so will we.  While Egyptians struggle … (3 comments)
