Local Lawrence author, Laura Moriarty, has her third book While I'm Falling being published in August of 2009. Laura had written her critically acclaimed debut novel, The Center of Everything as well as her outstanding second novel The Rest of Her Life.
Laura Moriarty has a Master Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Kansas. She has received the George Bennett Fellowship for Creative Writing at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.
Laura lives in Lawrence, Kansas with her daughter and continues to write while sipping tea in many of the local Lawrence coffee houses.
