"Who Makes the Repairs When FHA Appraiser Finds Problems?" That is the question I had to discuss recently with my client when she was selling a listing. While this may have been an exception to the normal rules and guidelines, it did come up during the process as a result of the recent catastrophic hail storm in the Phoenix metro area this past October. During the inspection period the FHA appraiser wrote up the roof and air conditioning unit. GETTING A NEW ROOF OR "WHAT IS THAT NOISE" - PART TWO When I arrived home late yeaterday afternoon, I wasn't quite certain what to expect. If you read my first blog about having my roof replaced, you'd understand my uncertainty. The catastrophic hail storm we experienced last October had damaged my roof, and about 500,000 others! "WHAT IS THAT NOISE?" Oh what I'd have given this morning for the peace and quiet of my coffee and paper in my Moon Valley home in Phoenix. My morning got off to a noisy start with a knock at the front door at 07:00 a.m. today. I knew that the roofers were going to be here this week because of what I saw on my driveway Saturday morning.
