facebook for realtors: Facebook Business Page "Impressions" - 12/26/10 02:09 PM
Facebook, still my favorite site for social media, has recently introduced a new feature that makes it very easy to measure the impact of a Facebook Business Page... Impressions. Impressions, by Facebook's definition, are the "raw number of times the post has been seen on your wall and the newsfeed of your fans." The more times your posts are seen, the more exposure you are getting from those posts. As with all marketing, the more exposure, the better... facebook for realtors: Facebook? A database with a pulse... - 08/21/10 09:51 PM
Realtors often ask me "Why are you so active on facebook?" "Is it good for business? Have you sold a lot of homes using facebook?" Yes, facebook is great for business. Almost every day one of my "friends" or a "fans" contacts me for business... Facebook? A guilty pleasure? Or a way to do

facebook for realtors: IS SOCIAL MEDIA A SINKHOLE FOR REALTORS? OF COURSE IT IS... - 12/17/09 08:48 PM
I just read yet another featured post on Active Rain questioning if social media was a sinkhole for most Realtors... Of course it is! This is such a tiring debate. Social media IS a "sinkhole" for most Realtors. But so are: Open houses Door knocking Email campaigns Newsletters Cold Calling Most things we try don't work. At first. That is why 70% of agents quit in the first year... I have hosted many open houses with little or no visitors... But I still host open houses... Real estate sales is hard. Social media is hard too. Is social media a sinkhole
