illinois: 8 MONTHS OF BLOGGING...THE WORLD HAS CHANGED...WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN? - 10/03/08 09:31 AM
I have been blogging since February 15th of this year. I joined Active Rain in January of 2007, but like a lot of us, I was slow on the uptake. With this post, I will move into the top spot in my hometown of Naperville Illinois. So here I sit, reflective after almost 8 months of blogging. So many posts... Some good, some bad, some ugly. What has it all meant? Has it meant anything? The world has changed over those 8 months. The government has grown. And grown some more. Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Fannie and Freddie, Merrill Lynch, Washington Mutual, AIG,

illinois: THE LAKEWOOD CROSSING VIEW, NAPERVILLE ILLINOIS - 09/24/08 07:56 PM
Divide and conquer. After delivering 362 of my newsletters in one day last week, I thought it better to break up the work a little. I decided to deliver 100 per day in my next subdivison, Lakewood Crossing here in Naperville Illinois. Tonight was the first night out. I felt much better today. It was a nice early autumn evening. Warm for late September. Probably high 70's. The sky was beautiful. Orange and purple. Thunderstorms way in the distance. A great evening to be working. Ken To buy or sell a home in Naperville, call me anytime at 630-697-0536.

illinois: MY GOLF SWING - 08/02/08 07:02 PM
I was chipping in the backyard this afternoon. I was having a small fire as well. It was a nice afternoon. Anyway, I think I learned something about my golfswing today. While chipping with my lobwedge, I tried to take the club far to the outside. To me, it felt very unusual. Perhaps to the observer... Anyway, I hit almost every chip perfect. My full swing felt on plane and very powerful. Am I onto something??? Or is it just another false hope??? To find your next home, go to my website anytime.

illinois: WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE MEAN? - 07/09/08 07:21 PM
Just curious. Was it nature or nurture? I wrote a post today about a letter written by an apparently disturbed reader titled, My boss received an anonymous letter. The letter had no return address. I am fairly confident I know who wrote the letter. It is someone I have never spoken with and never seen. Another agent in the area that apparently doesn't like the way I write. Yet they went WAY out of their way to cause me trouble. Go read the letter. It was mean and nasty. And I don't even know this person. It is weird. Don't worry, I will

I did my yoga this morning. And ran three times last week. I have been good. Three pieces? I will be better tomorrow. Ken

illinois: HOME VALUES. SHOULD WE BE AT 2002 PRICES? - 04/27/08 08:52 PM
I was showing townhomes this morning. My old neighborhood. River Bend. I met my clients at the usual spot. Starbucks. I enjoy meeting clients at Starbucks. It seems to put them at ease. Happy. Who doesn't like a free cup of coffee? I feel it is a good $5 investment. I was showing a young couple. It was my first time out with them. I never expect first timer outers to buy. I feel they need to see a few homes first. Get comfortable with the process. Get comfortable with me. The home we were seeing is listed at $309,900. It was the model home of the unit I
