Delicious.
I am back at Starbucks. My new location. The 95th and 59 location in Naperville, Illinois.
This week was the first week of school for children in Naperville. Happy stress free moms are all over the place.
There have been groups of 2,3, 4, 5, and even 6 women gathering and having just a wonderful carefree time.
Kids at school? Let's get together.
Today is a rare rainy day. Cool and wet.
I know other areas of the country have been getting pounded by rain, but not here in the midwest.

Yesterday, I wrote that my schedule had been disrupted by a non starting lawn mower.
At the time, it seemed a crisis to me because mowing the lawn was on my to do list. I don't like to mess with my to do list.
Well today I went out and, as if by magic, the lawn mower started. The problem had fixed itself.
There is a lesson in this.
In life.
In business.
And in lawn maintenance.
Todays crisis will often be gone tomorrow.
Don't fret about today's "issues".
Tomorrow is another day.

I have noticed recently that the foreclosure market is starting to heat up.
The banks are starting to price their homes properly and they are selling.
In the last week alone, two new foreclosures were taken off the market by bargain hunters in subdivisions I watch closely.
One was in River Bend, Lisle. Ok model price at 229k. Great neighborhood.
The other was in Orchard Valley. West side of Aurora. Cool neighborhood with some units on a higher end golf course.
My client was bidding on the Orchard Valley unit. Overlooking the eigth green. I would have liked this one. The home … (12 comments)

It was a hot day out there at Butler National in Oak Brook Illinois. Hot and humid.
We didn't complain. The caddies were the ones carrying the bags.
I played fairly well. For me at least. My short game was poor. My longest putt made was 4 feet.
RUSTY!
I guess that's what happens when you never play and are playing one of the toughest courses in the country.

Does anyone care anymore?
I was involved in financial sales from 1989-2002. Crazy years to be a stock broker, no doubt. I have seen some wild things.
I still love the markets. Supply and demand. Prices go up. Prices go down. Just like real estate. Love it.
Anyway, I have CNBC on all day in my office. I think it is important. If not, I still love it.
I have been watching the stock market closely the past several months. It's been taking a beating.
The last two days the Dow has had up days of over 200 points.

I think if a buyer gets spooked easily, they shouldn't be buying.
I just read a post of Valerie Osterhoudt. She was concerned that a home inspector was spooking her would be buyers.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW FAST WE ARE GOING, AS LONG AS WE ARE MOVING FORWARD.
I don't even remember what the commercial was for, but after hearing that line, I laced up my running shoes and went for a run.
It was what I needed yesterday.
So I try to improve a little everyday.
Life is a marathon. Not a sprint.
I pattern my business that way as well. Long term.
