All agents should have a facebook profile.
It's that important.
It is the most powerful networking tool I have ever seen.
So easy. If you are reading this post, you can have your own profile within 5 minutes.
So fun. So powerful. A very good combination.
First introduced to by Active Rainer Carl Ostenson in mid September, I certainly was reluctant.
"It's for kids!" I thought.
That sounds old. Real old.

realtors: WE ARE RUDE - 06/10/08 12:27 PM

We are rude. We are. We are rude and unprofessional.
I write this post from an unusual perspective.
I am a renter and a Realtor in the lovely city of Naperville. My landlord wants to sell our home. We cannot afford to buy it.
So we don't want the home to sell. Anyway...
The home has been listed for about 7 days. We have had 8 realtors call and make appointments. 3 have shown up. None has called to cancel. One left a card.
Look, I am glad 5 didn't bother to show. That helps me. It does.

realtors: I AM A HORRIBLE REALTOR!! - 03/24/08 07:55 PM

My name is Ken Tracy. I am a real estate agent with RE/MAX Action. And I am a horrible realtor.
The story begins with the day I passed my licensing exam in October 2005. I was as bright eyed and bushy tailed as they come. I was going to knock the cover off the ball.
I had just read the book, "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Success as a Real Estate Agent" written by Marilyn Sullivan. A very good book by the way.
I signed on with RE/MAX. Nobody sells more homes than RE/MAX, right? Somebody should have explained how expensive it can be to pay … (142 comments)
