There are two different types of Home Staging ... Staging an already occupied home or staging a vacant home. Each scenario are quite different in the approach and the cost but either one is definitely worth the money.
Regardless of which option is right for you, this should begin at the curb! Not just the inside of the home! There have been many times where prospective home buyers didn't even want to make the effort of getting out of their car to see the inside and the pass judgement from the street!

When Getting the House Ready to Sell .... Kitchen Clutter is a GREAT place to start!  But ... Don't just stash and hide things in the kitchen cabinets! Prospective buyers will want to look through all cabinets, closets, pantry, etc... to see what kind of room there is for their things. 
So ...if you're clearning the clutter, make sure you're "behind the scenes" is just as neat and tiddy as what's out in the open!  
 
Of course this is a good practice for EVERY ROOM in your home .. it's good to start with the Kitchen.

Fall is a GREAT time to sell your home! It's a "Cozy" time of year that will make your home feel even more inviting with a few of these helpful tips.   
 
Don't "over decorate" for the Holidays (ie: Halloween and Thanksgiving).  Instead add subtle touches of Fall.  For example, changing out flowers in a vase or changing your wreath on your front door to a more Autumn one vs. just regular flowers.
