Happy Friday!!!  I don't think I've been more excited for a weekend in awhile.  Spring has arrived, the sun is shining and not a cloud in sight.  LIFE IS GOOD!  Real, real good!

I gotta say....it feels good!!!  I've been watching my points creep towards 100K and wanted to write a quick post.
You, the Community of AR, are the most amazing group of people.  Your originality every day and the knowledge, oh my goodness, the knowledge in those noggins of yours is knock-me-over-with-a-feather astonishing!

Success is that point where you come to the realization that all the work you've put it finally pays off.  You get a high at the very thought of knowing your blood, sweat and tears have brought you to your ultimate goal.  Sometimes you can reach this point on your own, sometimes you need a little help from your friends.  We've all tasted it before and thus we continue to strive to get there again.

Well, well, well....what do we have here?  A couple of pretty rad success stories I see! Julia can attribute 60% of her success to the 'Rain; Jim and Maria believe their business growth is due to their presence here; Scott loves the knowledge that our community so freely shares.  That's the power of ActiveRain!

Helllooooooo Rainers!!!!  As I sit here in the oil change shop, patiently waiting my turn, I am already ecstatic with the service received.  I have had one employee grab me coffee, another guy called my insurance to see if the chip in my window was covered (which he is now going to take care of for me) and they've given me a lifetime of free car washes anytime I'd like to come by.  Holy moly....if only every experience could be like this one.  I expect service like this at Nordstrom or a fancy restaurant but an oil change place?  Wow!

In honor of Steve Hoffacker's new Tuesday's Treasures group I'm sharing one of my many treasures; my Pops.    
He's an original New Yorker and the funniest guy you'll ever meet.  He had his own NY Deli for many years when I was a kid....I remember Monday night's dinner and thinking "Oh man, meatloaf again?!?!?  Or come on dad, can't we have Mac 'n Cheese instead of veal cutlets?...where's the dog?"  When we had to get papers signed for class, he'd say "Big or small"...."Um, just regular dad"....he would either autograph it extremely large or exceptionally small.  He'd always let us … (33 comments)
