Historic Homes of Denver: Wine & Food Series, LIKS Ice Cream - 02/27/10 01:37 AM
While you may not be thinking ice cream in February, summer is coming and one of the most popular stops for the residents of Cheesman Park is LIKS Ice Cream located on the northwest corner of 13th and Vine St.
The delicious ice cream here is made dailey and it is not uncommon to see a line streaming on the door on a hot summer evening.
Sure they have your basics, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry...but I like to go in to see what the specialties of the day are.  Don't miss the spimoni which is like none that I have ever had before.  … (0 comments)

For those of you that crave fabulous Japanese food other than sushi, I highly recommend Domo on the 1300 block of Osage.  Country style Japanese food is served in a spectacular setting that is unlike anything that you will find in Denver.  I highly recommend the Unagi bowl. Tender, mouthwatering unagi is served with a variety of side dishes that will make you long for Japan, whether you've ever been there or not!  This is a definate must visit!!!
