California Association of Realtors has a program called the Housing Affordability Fund Mortgage Protection Program. There was a small article of this in the latest Realtor Magazine, I read it and thought of a particular client that seemed to meet the initial requirements. My client had purchased last year and was laid off from his job at the end of the year. My office prepared his documentation and it is now in the mail.
