Monday, December 27, Elliptical – yes.
Hurray For Monday! I hardly ever say that. But boy was I ever ready for “REGULAR”
I met with a first time buyer. We got him pre qualified last week, went looking after lunch, saw 7 and wrote an offer on a bank owned perfect first time buyer home this evening.
I love that part of my job.
We got an offer on the new short sale. (Not just an offer… an offer that is likely to close! Yeah team) … (2 comments)

31 days of December Challenge Day 22
Wednesday, December 22, Elliptical – no, slipped out early.
Today was not a regular work day. I got in at 6:00, and left at 9:45. The office was extraordinarily quiet…no one was stirring, not even a mouse. I think I got more done because of the deadline to leave early.
Then at 10:30 Preschool Christmas party Woo Hoo. Those 4 year olds can shake it up! We decorated cookies, did crafts, and then the whole class put on a little singing (hysterical) Christmas pageant. After all that, wait … (1 comments)

Saturday December 11, Elliptical – oops, not today.
Today was so busy! I’ve gotten use to starting the day out on the elliptical, but today it was a choice between: 1. Elliptical 2. Shower 3. Being late. I NEVER choose to be late. And because I did an open house, it was for the sake of the community that I chose to shower.
All day long I thought I’ll squeeze in elliptical, you know catch up later…later never comes. And my energy wasn’t as high today. Now … (2 comments)

Friday December 10, Elliptical – check.
Today was great and productive.
I took a 2 hour class with Judy Covington. She has been at real estate a long time and is full of wisdom that only comes from being IN the trenches (with mud boots on and ready for action) She talked about ways for marketing that I never even thought of. Also how to handle difficult clients with grace and power. It was time very well spent.

Tuesday December 7
Today was great good and productive. Elliptical – check.
We finally closed the one home that just wouldn’t close. (This one was like nailing Jello to a tree) There are about a million ways a deal can run into trouble, and every one guaranteed will have a few issues. As a rule this is fine, it’s my job to navigate through them. But THIS one in particular…If it could go wrong, it pretty much did.
And now it’s closed. Everyone is relieved.

I work IN my business every day. (Well, every day except Sunday) I work ON my business whenever I have a chance. I know of about a million ways to improve my business, but a million is far too daunting to implement. One is not.
One I can do.
One I will do.
One I must do.
I’m in a challenge.
Day one for me is figuring out a game plan, an attack pattern, and a methodical method for implementation.

To determine a selling price for your home, an agent will take into consideration all information humanly possible:
What else that is comparable (like kind and quality) has sold, how quickly, and for how much. What else that is comparable (like kind and quality) is for sale right now, how long has it been for sale, and for how much.

Of course you're not. Who really is. I get it. You didn't know values would drop so dramatically (and over night). You didn't plan on... (fill in the blank), job loss, divorce, health issues etc. No one signs up for the big hurdles that sometimes fall in our path.

Waterman Road Closures
Beginning December 6, work on Grant Line Road for the Waterman realignment Project will start.
Luckily it will only be closed at night from 8:00pm until 5:00am. But of course there will be delays and all the expected we-are-making-progress- upheaval.
It is suppose to improve traffic and safety (YEAH!) We are going to have a traffic Light. (NO, Really!) and they are eliminating that irritating skew in the road so it will be a straight shot.

Just Say NO to active Rain Newbies, Just say no to active rain. It is too late for me, but maybe you should go back while you still can. Example: This is my small child putting desitin all over the dog, while his mother was on active rain. They were only two feet away from me, but I wasn’t aware of anything until I smelled that minty fresh smell. (Apparently desitin works to take you out of an AR coma)
