Often times when I am asked to give an estimate on a vacant home I give clients recommendations beyond what rooms to stage and what furniture to rent. If the home decor is too personal I will often tell the client to repaint a room, remove wallpaper or replace outdated carpet in certain rooms. I am not paid for this advice but I realize that simply adding furniture will not transform the space into something less personal. Have you ever entered a home that did not have ENOUGH clutter? Recently our team worked with a client in Berwyn Chester County PA that had purchased a new home and decided less than a year later to relocate. The home was stunning and had every upgrade imaginable- the problem, however, was that it somehow felt hollow or empty. It was not completely vacant but it did not have a personality about it that buyers would remember. Last week our team shot the before episode for a new television show  that will air in the Fall for the Fine Living Network. The house was located in Downingtown in Chester County PA. It was a great experience- the producers, the director and the crew were wonderful to work with and the family that we selected were a dream- they completely understand the need to get their home ready for sale and were willing to do the work it takes to make the best first impression.
