home staging montgomery county: The Home Sellers did all the work- Our Most Recent Statistics for Main Line Home Staging - 07/24/09 09:38 AM
I just got off the phone with an ecstatic Realtor- her most recent property was listed on Sunday, got an offer on Monday, accepted the offer on Tuesday and got a back up offer Tuesday evening. The reason she is so thrilled is not only because this home sold so quickly but because the last home we staged for her also sold in less than a week!
This Realtor understands that in today's market staging a home is essential to getting a faster sale. She also knows that home staging does not have to be expensive. Often times all a client needs is a home … (4 comments)

home staging montgomery county: My client surprised me today- he did his home staging homework! Before, During and After Pics - 07/22/09 01:38 PM
Lately it seems like we have been physically staging a lot of occupied or lived in homes- this means a lot of decluttering and packing up client belongings! Typically we do not do hands on staging for occupied homes, instead, we provide a home staging consultation and the client completes the plan that we recommend and then we come back for fine tuning or to add a few accent items.
For our most recent project in Villanova Pennsylvania we were asked to do the physical staging and rearrange the home seller's items to make the home presentable for sale. When I first visited … (16 comments)

home staging montgomery county: What a difference a day makes! Home Staging transforms this home in Montgomery County Pennsylvania - 09/18/08 06:41 PM
I am exhausted! Yesterday our team had the task of completely transforming a grand estate in Montgomery County Pennsylvania. Since the home will not be on the market for another 2 weeks I will not post exterior shots but I promise to share some of the AMAZING architecture this home has to offer at a later date.
I think this is a great project to share because it really shows home sellers how home staging can give a property a new look using only what the client already has. I originally met with this home seller who is a real estate … (3 comments)

home staging montgomery county: Making Models Work: Who is your target buyer? - 05/16/08 05:23 PM
Below are photos of a model condo unit we staged for a builder in Lower Merion Pennsylvania, a suburb outside of Philadelphia. This is actually the 5th time we have staged this model! Each time we stage the model unit it sells, and the builder asks us to move it to a new location in the complex. Buyers love the staged unit and since that is the unit they want, we have to move it.
The unit we are staging is the same as all the other units. So why do buyers insist on that particular unit and not another? Buyers … (3 comments)

home staging montgomery county: Rooms that make you go Hmmm??? - 05/16/08 04:36 PM
As a home staging professional I hear clients ask time and time again "Why do I need to stage my vacant home? Can't buyers just imagine how it will look with their furniture?" As always I answer, "No. Buyers need to see furniture in a space so they can mentally begin to move in. Staging gives rooms a better sense of proportion and shows buyers the best use of each space."
Below are some before and after pictures of a home we recently staged in Montgomery Country Pennsylvania. The home is a sleek contemporary space with gorgeous finishes and lots of … (15 comments)

home staging montgomery county: Mural, mural on the wall.... you are way too personal for all. - 06/27/07 09:22 PM
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of helping a family in Montgomery County, Haverford PA prepare their home for sale. The home is a stunning historic Tudor in a coveted zip code. The sellers had recently moved and the Realtor felt it should be staged to allow buyers to better envision how they could live in the home. Typically when I do a proposal for a vacant home I only provide the client with a proposal for our services and rental items, however, in this case I could not resist giving them a free bit of advice about the … (23 comments)

home staging montgomery county: Home Staging 101: Model home staging = business model for faster sales - 06/17/07 03:38 PM
In addition to assisting home sellers with preparing their homes for sale, our team also works with builders, developers and property investors looking for new ways to market their properties. Furnishing a model home is an expensive proposition for most developers who are working on a tight budget. We meet their needs by designing models that can be moved from property to property as each unit sells. Builders with multiple units can invest in staging one property and continue to install the furniture and accessories in each successive unit without paying costly redesign fees, storage fees or purchasing new furniture. Below … (3 comments)
