 Emerald Isle NC - Unattended Beach Equipment
Information obtained from the City of Emerald Isle presentation to Emerald Isle NC Real Estate Professionals on March 16, 2012.
The Town of Emerald Isle NC implemented an ordinance in 2010 that requires unattended beach equipment to be removed daily, or subject to confiscation by Emerald Isle Town personnel.  Exception stickers are provided for oceanfront owners from the 3000 block to the west only.   This ordinance will continue into 2012.  So do not leave any beach equipment unattended on the beach in Emerald Isle NC.

According to Lawrence Yun, the NAR Chief Economist the mortgage delinquencies are not from current sales but rather the residual effect from the bubble years. Mortgages written in 2009 and 2010 have a below "normal" rate of default.

Homes sold in Emerald Isle NC for the week of July 17, 2011 to July 23, 2011 shows that 2 homes were put under contract to be sold and that five houses were closed and sold during that week.
