Emerald Isle, NC – November 13, 2009 – Kathryn Gorham, an Emerald Isle Realtor has been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 38,000 Realtors nationwide have earned the credential.

How I'm using my ActiveRain blog to enhance my existing relationships with clients and prospects! Bob Stewart proposed this question. So... How am I using my library of content? The answer is I haven't been getting as much out of it as I could. If I could come up with an idea what would it be? Today I attended a CRS class in Morehead City, NC - "Going Green" - taught by Mark Given. (See my earlier blog - Going Green in Morehead City) One thing he stressed to us was now that "Green" was upper most in our awareness our brain's reticular activating system would start noticing articles, logos, and other things "green."

 
Mark was right on. When I got home today I opened my mail box and there was a "Real Goods" catalog with Ed Begley's picture on it headlining, living with solar and filled with "green" products. A second catalog right under it … (3 comments)

crs: Going Green in Morehead City - 03/31/09 12:05 PM
GOING GREEN! Mark Given is here in Morehead City NC today teaching the CRS course that he wrote, Going Green. We are having fun coming up with marketing ideas for implementing green marketing. Some neat ideas from this morning: green website, green closing gifts, green recipies, offer classes to seniors to learn email so they are more green, etc.
 

After lunch break we are going to put together a list of Green Professionals!
If you get the chance it's a great course for learning how to make money with and market for the upcoming Green Revolution!
