MLS Maps has recently seen it's Google rankings rise for a number of cities and terms including;
Phoenix mls map Denver mls map Las Vegas mls map Miami mls map search Organic traffic at MLSMaps.com continues to grow with Google being the biggest search engine referrer followed by Bing and then Yahoo. The terms "mls" and "map" occured in 111 different phrases in the month of March and the word "map" appeared in 285 different keyword phrases that drove real estate buyer traffic to MLSMaps.com. As you might expect, the occurance of the word "map" in search phrases that include "mls" is on the rise. As we start 2010 there are more IDX providers that offer map based mls search and we are finding more and more agent sites that offer their local visitors a map based view of available listings in their area.
As I mentioned before, I still think that Map Tracks from Wolfnet Technologies is still the best user interface for home shoppers. It allows home buyers to quickly and easily zero in on a specific neighborhood where they would like to live. … (1 comments)

Real estate agent directory Agentopolis hit two milestones last night on Twitter. We reached 4,000 followers and we passed Trulia on www.wefollow.com. Twitter is fast becoming one of the top sources of traffic for the Agentopolis directory with more and more of our visitors also spending time on the Home Search area where Realtors can list their properties for free.
Agentopolis has also seen significant traffic gains from Twitter on a number of our other real estate sites including www.mlsmaps.com, our MLS listings site using map based property search, and www.mnonlinemls.com, a consumer facing Minnesota MLS site.

It's been a long time coming but MLS Maps has finally made the first page of Googles search results for the term "mls listings". Not only that but today we cracked the top 5 for that term and as a result our traffic has more than tripled. In addition to mls listings, www.MLSmaps.com is also working to get pages ranked for every state with the term MLS as well as over 300 cities. In two previous posts, “MLS” and “Map” terms used in Search, and “more evidence of home buyer search terms”, I showed lists of search phrases that are being typed into Google with more frequency, using a combination of the terms “mls” and “map”. Back in the old days the only way to find a home for sale was to drive around in your car until you found a “For Sale” sign, or call a Realtor and wait for them to call you with what they found for you. Recently http://www.mlsmaps.com/ hooked up links to MLS IDX sites in the top 230 cities and metro areas in the U.S. It took over 100 hours to find qualifying IDX sites in each of the 230 markets. We were looking for easy, unencumbered access to local MLS listings, primarily with map based search if possible. Currently MLS Maps has about 100 cities with access to a decent map based search IDX solution. We have found that Wolfnets Maptracks is the best map based search on the Internet, after searching though the first 5 pages of search engine results in the top 230 cities. … (1 comments)
