Yes, I think I'm a bit of a picky eater, and I buy tacos off the street at least once a week.  In about a year I've had no problems.  I buy them from permanent stands, rather than wheeled carts.  And I go to places that seem busy.  Garnishes usually include tomatoes, onions, cucumber, grated cabbage, radishes, cheese if you ask for it, a variety of salsas.  Pile it up and you've got a complete meal for a couple of dollars.  It's ready to eat and someone else cleans up.  Take a hefty friend and you can both … (0 comments)

Did you know olives are grown locally here?  Yes, you can actually arrive at an authentic olive grove within an hour of here.  Best of all, you can buy olives, pickled and ready to eat for next to nothing ($2 for a 16 0z jar).  If you love olives like I do, that's a great supper!

     Apparently I stepped into an unusual situation.  I'm so glad I did.  I'm selling real estate in Puerto Penasco/Rocky Point Mexico.  Penasco is a small town about 45 minutes south of the US border, on the Sea of Cortez.

     I'm not negative about having a positive attitude.  But I am offering a cautionary note.  I know a family struggling with the challenges of having a 4 year old with leukemia.  A sweet, wonderful little girl, who hasn't had a chance to break the "law of attraction" sufficient to bring disease upon herself.

     Rodolfo Elisondo, Mexico's Secretary of Tourism recently announced the government will be investing $115.3 million dollars in funds to improve and promote projects throughout the country.  These funds are intended for the restoration, renewal, modernization and creation of projects to enhance tourism and produce opportunities for employment.

     Here in Puerto Penasco/Rocky Point, it's common to see people driving great big RV's.  In fact, we are a popular RV destination among retired Americans.  Growing up, my best friend's family had a 5th wheeler.  I was invited to join them on a couple of "camping" vacations.  The 5th wheel was nice, much nicer than a tent.
     Well I was shocked to see these, nicer than a tent by a mile!  They've come a long way!

This picture looks directly in to this bathroom.  The far wall is a mirror.  This isn't shot at an angle.  How'd they do this?  Where is the photographer?  The camera?
