What would we do with a Sunday off? We would swim and lay out in the sun. Since we live near the beach it would be easy to do. Except for being Realtors it doesn't happen to often. Kim is showing property to her clients today and I am writing offers. I'm not complaining. We love real estate and did actively chose this profession. Hi! This is a good reminder for agents and clients when taking pictures for the MLS. I just looked at a condo on the MLS in Santa Monica. It was listed for over $600k from an out of area agent. The pictures were blurry and the angles used were odd. It's very poor represenation for our clients and ourselves as professionals. If you don't want the business just refer it to someone locally. Living In Santa Monica on Montana Ave the local spot after dinner is a cute specialty coffee shop. It's Caffe Luxxe and are known for the best latte's. My favorite is a latte with whole milk and then I add cinnamon. I like their latte's since they are smooth and creamy with hardly any acid taste. Also, they just started using Horizon Organic Milk. Yay!
Dessert is next door at Nothing bundt Cakes. My favorite one below is Red Velvet. It has butter cream frosting and lightly sprinkled inside with chocolate chips.

I was in my car driving to the office. On the radio they were announcing that a plane just hit the World Trade Center. They didn't know what was happening or why it hit the building. It was so real to me. When I finally made it into the office. I ran into the TV room. Everyone was watching the news. Once we found out what was really going on, it was pure shock and devestation. This past Saturday I was enjoying a lovely day leisurely shopping at Santa Monica's outdoor Third Street Promenade. In between stores doing some window shopping a large group of Zombie's took over my sidewalk. I thought to myself,"OK now what movie is being filmed? and where is the film crew?" I looked all around and did not find one single film crew member, nor camera's.

I'm watching American Idol this year. It's really great to see Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony judging and helping the singers out. Seeing him this week on the Idol reminded me of a Salsa class I took at my gym Spectrum Club. One of the songs we danced to was the Marc Anthony song I have posted below. It can be stressful calling the banks non-stop then waiting for crucial decisions to be made. Explaining and supporting our Sellers & Buyers about this short sale proces. Happy Birthday!! to me and any other March babies. :) I really had a great day today. It has been raining all day. Not the typical So Cal showers, that start in the morning and stop in the afternoon. It's raining consistently in buckets sometimes. I went to a great little popular Italian restaurant. We usually have to wait to eat and end up sitting in the tiny hall way by the bathrooms. Not today! The rain kept most people inside. I had an excellent birthday meal and birthday desert was Tiramisu. Yummm! Have a beautiful day! :) Kristine

Our neighbor went on vacation for two weeks. He came home from the last part of his 3-day Vegas trip and noticed black soot on the carpet and walls. He looked at the chimney, the walls and noticed a strange colored liquid on his bed spread. Then realized a squirrel had dropped into the chimney while he was gone. It was still in his home, somewhere. The squirrel had gone #2 on his comforter & was also trying desperately to get out of the house. There were black marks on the windows and high up on the walls.
