It’s Monday!! I thought I would keep the party going from our open house this Sunday in Santa Monica. The weather was gorgeous. We had a steady flow of buyers and agents. Lot’s of people smiling, happy to be out and looking at homes. 90% of the people coming through were serious buyers. We had really good conversations with people and they are really movtivated by the amazingly low interest rates. Last year I was craving turkey with gravy. This year I can't wait to eat the pie. We are getting an apple crumb pie from one of our local bakers. It's just like grandma used to make fresh and from scratch! It will be hot with scoops of ice cream and real whipped cream with sprinkled cinnamon on top. Except this year I'm going to be slightly healthier. I will be putting scoops of Vanilla Bean Coconut Ice Cream. I hope it tastes good! And of course will be drinking a tasy cup of java! Isn't this one of the few tasty drinks you looked forward to with your school lunches? The schools recently emlimated Chocolate milk. Do you think kids should have the option of chocolate milk with their lunches? Here's more about it from an Los Angeles Times article.... The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District is scheduled to vote this week on whether students need sugar to make healthy choices. Of course, the vote won't be structured that way, but sugar is what's at stake.
