Mindful Mondays...

Who am I that You are mindful of me, that You hear me when I call.  This verse from the song Friend of God along with the verse from Matthew 6:28, "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Both of these help me to remember who is in control.

Sometimes we just need a reminder and when I see all of the beauty around me, especially this time of the year, that's just the reminder I need.

harriman tennessee real estate: What's Lurking in Your Crawlspace? - 06/02/11 08:14 AM
What's Lurking in Your Crawlspace?
Have you given that much thought?  I can tell you that I've never thought about what's lurking in my crawlspace.
Now, Hubby who is a plumber by trade knows what lurks in most crawlspaces. He's seen many things that would give me nightmares...cave crickets, spiders, and other things to awful to mention in a post.
This title came to me yesterday as I was talking to Aaron Walker with Thompson Waterproofing Company.  He is treating and correcting damage in the crawlspace that my REALTOR® daughter is purchasing.  He said to me BTW your getting an added … (12 comments)

harriman tennessee real estate: Wacky Wordless Wednesday - 06/01/11 07:08 AM
Wacky Wordless Wednesday...
I was going to write my typical Wordless Wednesday but my second generation Daughter, Daesha felt like the title should be more entertaining. So hence the Wacky Wordless Wednesday title, it does describe the pictures for today.
Below are pictures of my second generation children Daesha (10) and Seth (8).  One picture is the two of them on the first day of school and the other is a picture of the two of them on the last day of school.
My question to you is, can you tell which is which?  :-)

Celebrate And Have A Good Time!!!
That's exactly how I feel having completed this 31 day May challenge.  In fact, I thought a little celebration music might be nice.  Please feel free to celebrate with me!
May has been so taxing, the kids and I decided to have a little pool celebration and relaxation today too.
Hopefully I will continue to post on a daily basis....I just won't feel such PRESSURE!  I can post at a more leisurely pace and not have to exert myself.
To ALL of you that made it through the May challenge, I say CONGRATULATIONS and job … (10 comments)

harriman tennessee real estate: Freedom Never Cries - 05/30/11 02:11 PM
Freedom Never Cries...
This is a video shared with me from a Facebook friend today.  I think so many times we take so much for granted.  We have to keep in mind that freedom is not free. So many men and women paid a dear price for our freedom. Many gave their lives so that we can live, worship, work, play and do all the things that we do daily without giving much thought to the price they paid.
I hope each of you have had a memorable Memorial Weekend.  I hope that we will all keep in mind the military, … (2 comments)

harriman tennessee real estate: Spectacular Saturday - 05/28/11 03:38 PM
Spectacular Saturday...
Memorial Day Weekend has been packed full of many things to do today.  Harriman Tennessee had their first annual Memorial Day Parade and it was a great success. But, I'm jumping the gun here. We started off with a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Lion's Club of Harriman, and they weren't kidding...they did have the WORLD'S BEST PANCAKES!!!
Next stop was the parade...it was short but very sweet and touching. The parade ended at David Webb's Riverfront Park with a ceremony honoring our fallen military, fireman and police officers.
I'm not sure what everyone did for the rest of the … (6 comments)
