Delayed fligts, bad weather and putting things into perspective~ Haiti - 01/22/10 08:41 AM
Yesterday, I left my home at 10am to fly to Tucson for my Grandfather's funeral on Saturday. We touched down in Denver to find out our flight is cancelled due to weather, nothing out until Friday morning.
Southwest kindly put me on the one remaining spot for the 7:55am flight this morning knowing time was of the essence (similar to a real estate transaction). I'm at the airport now with heavy fog and potential of delays and cancellation once again.
As I look around at frustrated passengers, I'm reminded of the devestation in Haiti. This morning, they experienced another after shock. … (0 comments)
