Tomorrow I leave for Seattle to watch my daughter compete against other gymnasts from across the nation at the USA-Gymnastics junior olympic national championships!

I really am so proud of her.  For those really curious, she can be seen on www.youtube.com by searching Anna Shumaker in the video search pane.  If your child is interested in this rewarding sport, it will set them up for goal-oriented behavior for the rest of their life, not to mention sculpt their bodies into tiny powerhouses!  Working out to that degree when your young (as your body is maturing) will stand you in good stead in the fitness category well into your adult years.

I will return on Saturday in time to prepare for Sunday's open house.  There have been many buyers coming through who wish to buy before the end of the year.  I am finding buyers are very comfortable and prefer I communicate with them by text!  So I start first with an email contact, then ask for the cell number.  I then text them a short message and they really respond!  It is opening up my channels of communication especially with first time homes buyers and the younger set!  Texting has greatly improved my productivity as well as drawn me closer to my clients and my kids.  Also, I highly recommend the Blackberry Curve, model 8310.
