willamina: Surfing on the Mighty Yamhill River - 01/09/09 08:12 AM
Most people around here get nervous when the waters of the river approach flood stage, but not Corey Adams, a client and friend of mine. (I know, I have the coolest clients!) He gets excited like a little kid on Christmas Eve. These images were taken on January 2nd, 2009.

Willamina is commonly referred to as Timbertown, USA. In fact, it's advertised on the welcome sign!
Detailed information on Willamina at City-Data.com including population, graphs on demographics, real estate info (although I can help you with that!), school info and even weather charts! Thank you also to City-data for the image I borrowed.
Although this image is much better, but my respect for art keeps me from snatching it! Check out Aaron Lynch's website while you're there, he's a fabulous photographer and worthy of our appreciation.

willamina: Holiday Spirit in Willamina, Oregon! - 12/07/08 11:03 PM
The holidays are upon us in the West Valley. This year the Chamber of Commerce purchased new decorations and they really brought in the spirit of the season.
Willamina kicked off the season with their annual Light Parade on Saturday, December 6th, 2008.
Full of fun floats and cherished by the community, this is a great event! You can really feel the small town charm of this quaint community.
Floats from local businesses like Skyberg's Hardware, The Wildwood Hotel and Eddy's Trucking rode alongside churches, children and people just wanting to have fun! We even saw a sheep … (3 comments)
