Thanks to Chelsea Marie, a young lady from Nashville, TN! I found this post on Facebook: Please do this for the soldiers, will take 10 seconds. I followed the link and found that Xerox is hosting a site where they have collected art works from children all over the country and offer them as cards that will be printed and sent to a soldier in the US Military. Keller Williams Excellence in Towson, MD will be holding a day of fun and fund raising for KW Cares. This is a charity to help KW associates and their immediate families with hardships that are a result of a sudden circumstance.
CARES stands for Caring Associates Responding in Emergency Situations. Although we operate our businesses as independent contractors, we are all extended members of one big Keller Williams family. The traditional Open House has its merits and drawbacks, but a Broker's Open has PURPOSE and is truly a benefit for the Seller. There is a great debate in the Real Estate community over this question, but yesterday, we were not debating it, but enjoying it!
REALTOR.com wanted to document a veteran agent who is masterful in her marketing and who knows how to attract a crowd. Margaret Rome, one of the Queens of Active Rain, held 2 Open Houses on Sunday and Monday, in order to show them how its done. Folks came from far and wide to support Margaret and broaden the base of information REALTOR.com was able to gather.
