Reynolds Plantation Selling Club to pay down debt
February 3.2011 Mercer Reynolds, Chairman of Linger Linger development Co.(Reynolds Plantation) announced plans to sell the club assets  and amenities.  Lenders put pressure on Reynolds to pay down a credit line of $45 million by the end of 2011. Mercer and Jamie Reynolds pledged additional assets that totaled approx 60 million.
 A number of potential purchases are being evaluated:
 The Property Owners associations.
 An independent third party(which made an offer)
A smaller group of property owners.
