St Marys Good Samaritan Hospital will hold the groundbreaking ceremony for it's replacement facility at 10:00 am Thursday August 16 at 1501 Lake Oconee Pkway. The ceremony will be held at the 24 acre site on State Route between Carey Station rd and West Lake rd. Rep. Mickey Channell will make the key address. The 25 bed replacement hospital is expected to cost approx $40 million. Preliminary site preparations begin the week of June 25th, 2012.
