Finally, the $18.5 million Virgin Islands Cardiac Center is open! This signals the start of a new era of cardiac care in the the Caribbean! Friday, August 1, will see the commencement of a multi-year project to move the power lines in Christiansted underground. The Virgin Islands Territorial Emergency Management Agency will break ground Friday on the lawn of Fort Christian.
